Launch Utrecht Exposome Hub

Last December the Utrecht University Board approved the EXPOSOME Hub proposal. The kick-off was the start of the EXPOSOME interdisciplinary and collaborative research program. During the kick-off the goal of the EXPOSOME Hub was explained and experts from Dutch research institutes RIVM and TNO reflected on the future scientific and societal impact of the Hub.

Utrecht University launched fourteen so-called hubs, for which purpose it will allocate 26 million euros over the next four years. One of the hubs related to the strategic theme Life Sciences is Utrecht Exposome. The Utrecht exposome hub is led by Prof. Roel Vermeulen (co-chair Exposome board and coordinator) and Prof. Marc Bonten (co-chair Exposome board and coordinator), Prof. Dick Heederik (member Exposome board), and Prof. Rick Grobbee
